ART TREASURES
PLEA FOR PROTECTION. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received June 26, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, June 26. The Oxford Univereity has appealed to the League of Nations to use its influence to protect from destruction the art treasures of Central and Eastern Europe, notably Fadusz’s worldfamous statue of Marie Theresa at Poszony and other famous statuary in Transylvania.
