MAGISTRATE'S COURT
YESTERDAY’S SITTING. POLICE AND MAINTENANCE CASES Mr F. K. Hunt. S.M., presided at yes terday’s sitting of the Magistrate's Court, when police and maintenance cases were heard. Two first offending inebriates were treated in the usual manner. THE YOUTHFUL DICK TURPIN. Robert Flamwell Bare. 17 years of age, charged with the theft of property to the total value of -Co. was sentenced to two years’ reformative treatment. BREACHES OF PEACE. Two young men, William James Dob. 6en and John Francis Harwood, charged with committing a breach of the peace, were each fined 40s. On a similar charge, Percy Richard Workman and Illward Graham Pinny were each sped JEI. MEN WITH RECORES. Thomas Johnston, alias Percy John stem. alias Henry Baines, and Sydney Ernest Haase were churned with the theft of an overcoat, vqlued at AS. .. "Haase,” stated Kemp, "already has a long record, and Johnston has made a good start.” Each of the accused was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment.
