Thanks are also duf to Mr C. A. W. Kinnfbirrgh, a life menv ber of the club, who i® now in Aucki land, was accorded a hearty vote oJ congratulation on his being appoint* ed the first Mayor of the newly-formed borough of Avondale. CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS. It was decided that in connectioi with the champion of champion links the delegate from the Hataitai Clut ehould be instructed to vote in favoui of clubs being allowed to select- theh | links to represent them in this compe tition as they think fit.
