ALLEGED CONCEALMENT OF

DOCUMENTS. EX-CIVIL SERVANT ARRESTED. A man naimed William Neville Ward, and ex-eivil servant, was arrested by two detectives on Saturday afternoon. Ward, ivho was at one time an officer of the StAmp Department, wae retired some time ago on superannuation, and is 65 years of age, and a married man. Three charges are to bt preferred against him. They embrace an alleged fraudulent conceal men t of legal documents, and of fraudulent obliteration of other documents. Over one hundred and fifty documents ate said to have been recovered. Ward, it- is understood, was at one time a solicitor.. Ho will appear before the Magistrate’s Court this morning.
