EAST COAST LINES. FEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. NAPIER, Juno 23. The Minister for Public Worko stated to-night that now that sleepers are to hand progress will b© made with tho Eskdalo section of the East Coast railway. The laying of tho track will be proceeded with almost immediately, and a locomotive will he on the West ! Shore section in. three weeks. Mr ! Coates said he hoped to have tho platelaying to Eskdalo completed in lour months, and the lino handed over to tho Railway Department in about six months. In a reference to tho Napicr-Ghffiomo fieefcion of tho railway, tho Minister stated that sine? 1910 tho following amounts had been expended:—Napier: northwards, £'183,200; Wairoa northwards, £15,675; Gisborne northwards, £237,307; total to date, £436,362. On tho Waikokopu branch railway. £160.875, exclusive of permanent way, bad boon spent since 1919. Mr Coates and Mr Dowmo Stowart return to Wellington to-morrow. DUNLOP GOLF BALLS.
