Dalgety and Company, Ltd., Palmerston North, report having a very fair yarding of sheep and cattle at their Feilding sale on Friday last The following are quotations: White face lambs, 13s fid to 14s fid; small b.f. lambs, 13s sd; empty ewes, 12s; fat and forward ewes, 14s, 14s 9d to 15s; forward b.f. Lambs, to 15s 3d; fat ewes, 15s 8d to Ifis 8d; fat lambs, 17s 3d, lSs 9d to 20s 3d; extra good* fat wethers, 275; weaner heifers, .£2; 18-month heifers, «£o 15s; backward dairy cows, «£S. Dalgety and. Co., Ltd., report that at their stock sale at Otaki on Wednesday last they offered a good yarding of sheep and a small yarding of cattle to a large attendance of buyers. There was animated bidding for sheep and a fair demand for cattle, a total clearance being effected at satisfactory prices. Quotas tions: —Fat wethers, 23s to 23s 9d; fat ewes, 235; m.s. woolly sheep, 255; m.s. ©horn sheep, 18s 3d; 3-year steers, £3 6s.
