The Inter-State Universities’ Conference resolved in favour of a scheme of uniformity of degrees in. the various States. It was also resolved to aok Cambridge University to give a greater recognition of Australian degrees where a student desired to do additional work in England, and to ask London University to recognise Australian matriculation examinations. It was agreed that there should be common univeiuity vacations in all States-in order to encourage competitive games. . . . ’
