THE CHANCE OVER
ELECTRICAL EXPERTS CONFER. The first meeting of the board of experts appointed by the City Council to discuss the question of voltage and other details in connection with the change-over from the present city electrical system to the Mangahao power scheme was belt! at the Town Hall yesterday. The members of the board are: Messrs E. Hitchcock (manager of the municipal electrical department at Christchurch), F. Black (consulting electrical engineer, Wellington), and J. G. Lancaster (electrical engineer of the firm of Hay and Vickerman, Wellington). . The City Council's electrical officem were present at the conference. Subsequently the power stations and tramways committee met, and the change-over waa further discussed, but no decision was able to be announced
