YOUTHFUL HOUSEBREAKERS

TWELVE CHARGES ADMITTED. PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, May 29. Five youths, whose ages ranged from 17 to 19 years, admitted twelve charges of breaking, entering, and theft from business premises in various parts of the city. All the lads did not take part in all the offences. Three were concerned in breaking and entering a house at Piha, West Coant, from which they took provisions, bedding, etc. The total value of the property stolen was about £SO. The accused were committed for sentence. Publication of their names was prohibited. Three of the boys admitted converting a motor-car to their own use, but not so as to commit theft. Tho other two admitted a similar charge in reference to another car. Sentence was deferred. All the offences were committed in a short period.
