GLOOMY FOREBODINGS FALSIFIED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received May 23, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, May 22. Presiding at a meeting of the Melbourne City Properties Trust, Mr R. H. Caird said that all tho gloomy forebodings of the people in charge of “Bawra” had been completely falsified. They were getting rid of tho accumulation of wool on their hands far faster than they or anybody else expected. Those interested in the matter were wondering no announcement was made of the distribution to shareholders now that all tho priority certificates bad been paid off.
