SENSATIONAL LONDON CASE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received March 30, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON/March 29. George Hunt and his associates were committed fog trial on a charge of fraud. George Hunt, well-known in. speculative circles in London, was arrested in connection with a gigantic fraud trial. Several minor arrests were previously effected in connection yvith alleged swindling, by -which large numbers of people were induced to invest in racing speculation on the inducement that every hundred pounds would return them, £5 to £lO wqekly. It is assented that over £3,000,000 was subscribed from all parts of the country.
