Tasker, .of'Nelson, purchaser of the Valmape’s hull and cargo, intends to run a tram-line across Farewell Spit to Puponga to transfer the vessel's cargo of hardwood to the auxiliary scow Kohi or another sailer. \ The Raranga will shift to the Glasgow wharf to-day to commence Homeward loading. She will leave Wellington early next week for Napier, Russell and Auckland to complete her cargo. From Auckland the vessel will sail finally on April 21st for London via Cape Horn. The Rakanoa is to sail from Wellington to-morrow for Westport to load coal for Wellington. The Kurow left Wellington yesterday afternoon for Lyttelton to complete discharge. The Canterbury Company's steamer Gale is due at Wellington on Sunday from Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru and Lyttelton. She will leave here on Monday for Wanganui. The Komata, which i 9 expected back at Wellington on Sunday from Westport with passengers vand a cargo ,of coal, 'Will leave here, on Tuesday on the return trip. The Wanaka is to leave Auckland to morrow for .Wellington,-where she is due on Tuesday morning. The vessel . will load here for Dunedin, Bldff, pamaru and Timaru, sailing for south on Tuesday evening. The Anchor Company's steamer Regulus is due at Wellington this morning from Wanganui. The vessel will reoeive cargo till 3 p.m. to-day, and is to sail at 5 p.m. for Nelson, Westport and Greymouth. The Corinna, which arrived at Wellington last evening from Dunedin via ports, will sail to-day for Nelson and New Plymouth, taking cargo for the Taranaki port. RARANGA IN PORT. At 2.50 p.m. yesterday the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s cargo steamer Raranga arrived in the stream at Wellington from London and Cardiff via Panama, Pratique was -granted, and the vessel berthed last evening at the Taranaki street wharf. The Raranga left London on Februanr 11th and Cardiff on February~lßth, Westerly gales and moderate seas prevailed thence almost to panama and ■ delayed the vessel’s progress. Colon Was reached on March 7th and the ship left Balboa on the same day. A fineweather run was experienced across the Pacific. The only land sighted was •Jucie Island, which is uninhabited.
