ESCAPE FROM CUSTODY

BORSTAL PRISONER "CHARGED. Harold Alexander Stewart appeared before Mr F. K. Hunt. S.M., yesterday charged with escaping from "lawful custody at the Borstal Institution on January 26th, 1921. He was also charged with breaking and entering the shop of Price and BuHerd and with stealing certain goods, a cheque for £25 and £27 13s 9d in money, the charge involving £74 11s 6d in all. At the request of Senior-Sergeant John Lander, he was remanded to appear at Invercargill on Monday next.
