Regulations defining the powers of control and management of technical schools were gazetted yesterday. The Order-in-Council. provides that where n technical school is under the immediate control of manager®, and is also under the direction of a principal whose appointment has been approved l)y the Minister, and whose salary is paid hy the department, the managers shall Jiave full control of the administration and finances, including the appointment of teachers and the payment of salaries. In all other cases the controlling authority is given control of administration and UnMict*. provided that it may delegate such of. its powers as it may deem fit to the managers or ito a local committee. r . Rumford, before his departure for Canada, wrote for “Fluenzol” as a tnouthwash, add “ Q tol/’ which he said was “splendid stuff’* for use before abating.
