At u v\-2sivicr pf the of Meat- and Produce Exporters of New Zcal iivd, held to-day, it was resolved to 'end the' follo-tving letter to tho Moat Pool Board:— Members of the Association of Meat r.nd Produce Exporters of New Zealand lire surprised that the Meat Pool lhmd should take such strong ohjeci:o t to the method they have adopted {.*' cjiteciing tho levy from the producer. No other method of arranging iW the producer to nay this levy apPfitrs t-» be possible in actual, practice. Rather, however, than hare an at-itud:' of antagonism to the board attributed to them, and having made as strong a formal protest as possible against being forced to relieve the producer of this levy, they wish to inform the board that from this date they will withdraw rho instructions, they have given, their buyers concerning the collection of the levy on future purchases, although they are that this course will in effect result in the whole of tho levy for tho support of tho board l**ing borne by the exx>orter.
