BASIN RESERVE TRAGEDY
YOUNG' WOMAN POUND DYING. An unidentified young woman wearing a wedding ring died at the hospital last evening as the result of poisoning under circumstances that suggest suicide. About 7.25 o’clock last evening she was found lying on the ground at the rear of the grandstand in the Bamn Reserve suffering front poisoning. The polios were oommunioated with, and Dr Oorkill, who was summoned, ordered the woman’s removal to the hospital, where'she was taken. After admission the woman, succumbed at 8.30 p.m. The victim, who was not identified last night, was apparently about 25. years of age, 6ft 2m in height, of medium build, with fair hair, cut abort, and had artificial teeth, and one gold tooth in the upper jaw. She was wearing a coat of reddish wool, covering a woollen persey with brown trimmings, lighhooloured skirt, a dark Tam-o-shanter with gold crossings, and black lace-up hoots. An inquest will he held.
