World” states that Roscoe Anbuokle has revealed that his private fortune has gone oe the result of the tremendous expenditure for his defence. He received an ornatelydecorated cheque-book on the occasion of his 35th birthday, Ibut said ruefully that he had not enough money now to write one cheque, much less the wholo book full. Arbuekile was formerly a lavish spender, and lived in extreme luxury, but at present he is living quietly.
