CANTERBURY COLLEGE APPOINTMENT. ’ EB PRESS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, March 27. The Board of Governors of Canterbury College decided to offer the position of professor of chemistry, rendered - vacant by the resignation of Dr W. P. Evans, to Dr H. G. Denham, H.A., D.Sc., of Capetown University. Dr Denham is ihe son of Mr Eldward Denham, of Sumner, and was educated at the Christchurch Boys’ High Sohool. He is a graduate of Canterbury OSllegc, where he obtained his M.A. degree in 1905 and his M. Hu. ipf 1906, prior to accepting an appointment at Capetown University he occupied the chair of chemistry at Brisbane University.
