During tho evidence in connection with the purchase of the submarine Deutschland, Horatio Bottomley declared that when the vessel crossed the Atlantic she was laden with torpedos. Bottomley alleged that he incurred a loss in exhibiting the vessel to the public and also by being sued for compensation by dependents of tlie victims killed aboard the vessel when she was being broken up.\
