PHYSICAL WELFARE) OF CHIL. DREN. / , The Te Aro School Oommittee met recently, when the headmaster (Mr MoKenzie) reported favourably on the work being done to further the physical welfare of the children. Particular mention waa made of the work of the dental clinic, and of the special drill arranged by the school medioal authorities for those pupils suffering from physical disability. The committee put on record its appreciation of the good work being carried out by the department in the care of the general development of the children. It recognised that the care now being .given to the junior children would bring about a healthier and happier people in the future.
