JUVENILE LODGE OPENED. . On Tuesday evening, at St. Thomas’s schoolroom, a juvenile lodge (Pioneer No. 1) was declared! open oy Bro. J. H. 'Laughton, G.T., on behalf of the lodge. There was «a large attendance of boys, who were initiated by P.D.P. Bro. Mullins. The installation of officers was then conducted, the following being installed:—A.D., Bro. Lamb; V.A., Bro. Munn ‘Secretary, Bro. Miljigan; treasurer, Bro. R. Norriss: 0.G., Bro. Sutheri and; T. G., Bro. Thomas; A.D.B’S’., Bro 9. Norriss and Bennett; V.A.8., Bros; Beere and Scott. Three new members were proposed. Very interesting speeches were delivered by the J.P.G.P., Bro. Flannagan, ana G.T., Bro. Laughton, both of whom gave the boys some good .advice. Bro. P. Mullins, P.D.V., is the superintendent of the lodge. A quoit competition was arranged for the next-meet-ing, when prizes will be offered. Refreshments were handed round.
