PUBLIC OPINION
sir james allen.;;
~ Sir, —I have read' with considerable interest the communication from Sir James Allen published in your issue this morning. ' In .your editorial of November 18th, it was specifically stated, twice, that this JrepoTh had Bjppoaned in the London “Times.” I should be veiy glad if you would kindly inform me as to tlje date of the issue of, the London “Times” in which,the communication appeared. I notice that in the reprint of the Seepage there is no date, and no other due as to the origin of this report, and [ am really anxious to ascertain whether the London “Times” did actually publish such a travesty of the proceedings. J. WALTON MURRAY, ' Assistant-Secretary. ' New Zealand Alliance. (The dipping forwarded- to us was marked, “Extract from Lonmin ‘Times.’ ” —Editor “N.Z. Times.”)
