DWELLING DESTROYED

A SUNDAY NIGHT BLAZE. Par Press Association. CARTERTON. February 7. Fire on Sunday night destroyed a five-roomed dwelling at Belvedere, belonging to Mr M. Bond. There was no one in the building at the time, and when the place was left during the afternoon everything appeared safe. The Carterton Fire Brigade went out, but waa unable to render any help, as no water was available. The building was insured in the Commercial Union office for £2OO.
