The concluding day of the cricket match, Australia v. "The Rest," -commenced in fine weather and on a good wicket. The Rest of Australia in thesecond innings lost 5 wickets for 303, dnd the inpings was declared closed (O'Keefe 144, Love 63, Willis 31 not. out). McDonald took 1 wicket for 52 runs, Ryder 2 for 42, 1 for SI, Macartney 1 for 26. Australia in their second innings lost 4 wickets for 2GO runs (Gregory 4, Macart ney 9, Andrews 45, Collins 117, Ryder 65 not out). Hornibrook took 3 wickets for 106 runs and -Scott 1 for 68. The match, was drawn. O'Keefe played a careful, slow innings, which occupied f 269 minutes, during which he hit only six fours. The plav generally was very keen, bu+- during Australia's second innings Sqott caused a slow rate of scoring. Bowline he was frequently right off the wicket. Gregory attempted breezy play, but was caught in the slipfThe others were contenf to bat carefully.
