The gravest conditions prevail in the majority of the colliery districts. Wages reductions and unemployment axe so severe that- the miners’ executive is to-day reconsidering the entire situation in South Wales and Scotland. Weekly earnings of 20s to 90s are becoming the general average. In other districts the earnings are so small that they are augmented by official doles. ITCHING - PILES CURED. Mrs T. W.. Lower Valley. Write to-day for copy of new Book on Piles, telling about their cause and treatment. Enclose three penny stamps. The Zann Proprietary, Box 853 Wellington.
