CONFERENCE REMITS CONSIDERED. , The usual monthly "stop-work" meeL ing of the Wellington Waterside Workers’ Union was held yesterday morning in the Harbour Board X store waitingroom. Mr L. Glover, president, ocoupied the chair, and there was a large attendance. The meeting re-appointed Mr J. Smart returning officer for the ensuing year. After lengthy consideration approval was given to remits which are to be pre sonted at the annual conference of the New Zealand Waterside Workers’ Feds-, ration, to commence on the 16th inst. at New Plymouth.
