As the result of three years’ expert* menis the Bristol Company has produced an air-cooled nine-cylinder aeroplane engine of 450 horse-power. It oocupies two feet of space and four men can lift it. The engine has answered tests equivalent to carrying eight people ten thousand miles at s hundred miles per hour.
