ATHLETIC PARK
CONTRACT FOR IMPROVEMENTS. The Wellington Rugby Union haa had in contemplation far some time past improvements to the accommodation for the public on the western bank of the ground. Fiona and specifications have been ready, and the management committee recently decided to inaugurate the work without further delay. The secretary (Mr F. J. McComisky) informed a "Times” reporter that the tender of Messrs Trevor Bros, had been accepted for the extensive development on the western bank, and the work would be put in - hand immediately.
