There were amazing scenes at Westminster, when an organised body of Communists, carrying red flags, bToke np a meeting by using stink bombs, whistles and rattles. Finally, they rushed the platform and tore down the Union Jack. Several were injured in a bout of fisticuffs with tho stewards. Lord Derby escaped scatheless. Afterwards wooden boxes were discovered labelled “Anarchist bombs" and stink bombs “Made in Germany.” (Received October SO, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, October 28. Ex-servioe and other unemployed broke up an Empire Union meeting at Central Hall, * Westminster, and howled down Lord Derby. There were many free fights in tho audience. The promoters left the hall, and later the police cleared. tho rowdies out.
