The “New York Times” Washington correspondent states that Marshal Foch, after the official reception at White House, called on ex-President Wilson, but the latter’s secretary brought a message that the ex-Presi-dent was unable to receive him by doctor’s orders. The latter feared that Mr Wilson’s war emotions might be aroused by a talk with the gpneralis- , simo, and his condition be ‘ endangered. Marshal Foch left his card.
