STEAMERS FROM SYDNEY
TWO ARRIVE TO-DAY. _ MANUKA AND M ARAM A. , Tie Unipn Steam Ship Company received a radio message yesterday, from their intercolonial passenger steamer Manuka, *n ioute from Sydney, stating that the vessel will arrive in tlfis stream at Wellington at 7 o’clock this morning. After pratique has been granted the vessel will berth at No. 1, north (outer tee), Queen’s - wharf, this morning. The Union Company received another radio message yesterday from the R.-M.S. Marama, en route from Sydney, stating that the vessel will arrive in the stream at Wellington at noon to-day. The vessel will undergo medical inspection in the anchorage, and will berth this afternoon at No. I, south (outer tee),, Queen’s wharf. Bhe will leave Wellington at 3 p.m. to-morrow for San Francisco, via ports. Considerable interest is being taken in the run of these two vessels, seeing that they left Sydney within an hour of. each other —the Marama at IO a.m. and the Manuka at 11 a.m. on Thursday.
