In such a case the property is vested in him as if lie were the so-le trustee, but he acts as directed by the private trustees. While the management of the estate devolves upon the private trustees it is the duty of the Public Trustee in these circumstances to get in and hold thei trust property, invest its funds and dispose of the assets according to written directions received from the private trustees, provided he is satisfied that such directions do not conflict with the conditions of the trust or the law, nor expose him to any liability.
