ANNUAL EE UNION AND SOCIAL. There was a large attendance of members at the last meeting of the above association, Mr J. J. McGrath presiding. The business was the making of arrangements for the annual reunion and social to be held in the Town Hall next month. The catering was left in the hands of the chairman, secretary, and treasurer, and to the ladies* committee. , It waa de-

cided to. distribute tickets with various city business houses for sale to all who desire to support the object. As already announced, the funds will be devoted to the Wellington Public Hospital. The secretary reported that the services of an efficient orchestra hod been secured. The meeting was most enthusiastic, and the committee looks forward to a record attendance at the social, which is the first to be held since the outbreak of war in 1914.
