The death occurred at the Palmerston North Hospital on Monday morning of |Mr Frank Wisnofsky, death •resulting | from a fractured skull, apparently tho j result 6t a fall from a bicycle. it ap- ! pears that Mr Wisnofsky visited Levin ! last Wednesday afternoon, leaving his bicycle in one of the local stables. He called for the machine about 6.30 and rode to Mr C. -Wilson's, -in Oxford street North. When he arrived it was noticed that he had a scratch on his facp, and he explained it by saying he had a fall from hie machine. . He spent the evening at Mr Wilson'©, but about 8.45 complained of feeling unwell, and went to bed. Next morning he was called, but making no reply, medical advice was called in, and Mr Wisnofsky gras removed in an unconscious condition to the Palmerston North Hospital. An examination was made on arrival, and it was ascertained that he had sustained a fractured ekull. He did not recover consciousness. The Late Mr Wisnofskv, who was about fifty years of age, followed farming .pursuits. He was of a very genial disposition, and made many friends. He is survived bv a widow and family. An inquest will be held at Palmerston North on Friday.
