INTRUDERS SURPRISED
BURGLARS IN SYDNEY SUBURB. Two intruders were surprised in the home of Mr Ly&ter 0 mushy, at Woollahra, Sydney, one night recently. Mr Ornish v and hits wife returned to thear home after a, visit to town, and found that the place had been entered in thear absence. Running to his bedroom Air Ormsby threw open, the cfloor, and surprised two men in the act of ransacking the room. They were so engrossed in their task that they did not notice the return of the inmates. Air Ormsby immediately stepped in, and struck* one of the men on the nose, with sufficient force to throw him to the floor. Jle grappled with the other man and throw him. calling to his wife to, ring for the police. The man who had been struck then bolted out of the < m. \»ith some difficulty the second in.m was hold down until the arrival 'J the police, who found, on searching him, that he had a revolver in bis pr-ss'-ssion. This wns taken from him. and lie was removed to Paddington Police .Station, where no was charged with breaking and entoning.
