BRITISH DELEGATES ON THE ASSEMBLY. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, August 9. Mr Austen Chamberlain indicated in tho House of Commons that Sir James Rodd, late Ambassador to Rome, would be the British delegate on the League of Nations Assembly. Lord Robert Cecil questioned whether it was satisfactory that the British delegates to the League of Nations should belong purely to the official class. Ho declared the Government’s notion showed a profound contempt for the Jjeague. The Speaker condemned I.ord Robert Cecil’s remarks
