ST. MARY'S BAZAAR
% LAST THREE NIGHTS
The “Pierrots” presented last evening another of their deservedly popular programmes which, judging by the hearty applause accorded every item, met with the cordial approval of the audience. To-night a programme of dancing and singing items will be presented by the clever pupils of Miss Kathleen O’Brien. Among the items is included a very pretty ballet and song, “By tho Sea,” given by a dozen of the pupils, with little Una Smith in the solo part. Two pther very dainty and pretty ballets, “The Military” and “Beaux and Belles,” will be presented. Gladys Smvth, Frances Clisby, Wilma Bather, Nancy Gillespie and little Zita Hare will contribiilte a number of first-class solo items. THE QUEEN CONTEST. SUBSTANTIAL LEAD OF MISS McEVEDY. Great interest in tho bazaar is centring around the probable result of tho Queen contest. Yesterday’s returns give Alias McEvedy, of tho Armagh stall, a substantial lead on her nearest opponents, but tho contest is fat from being in safe keeping just yet. Miss Card and Miss Ellis are running one another very close for second place, and they arc not so very far behind the leader as to have no chance of winning. Surprises are in store, and tho least expected may top tho poll. Tho following is the position to date:— Miss Mary McEvedy, Armagh stall 64,676 Alias lla Card, Wellington stall 45,371 Miss Cecilia Ellis, Rheims stall 45,030 Miss Kathleen Ci'cwdson, Westminster stall 28,364 Aliss Alollio "Rutter, St. Vincent do Paul stall 27,953
