AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP. FINAL TO-NIGHT. The last game of the semi-final in the above championship was played last night in the rooms of Billiard©, Ltd. The contestants were Tucker (Federal Club) and Spencer, of the same olub. There was very little of interest in the game,, with the exception of one or two individual -shots. Tucker held the lead all through the game, and reached his 300 points'When -Spencer's score was 227. The best breaks were:—Tucker, 87, 25: Spencer, 29, 28. The final of 500 up will be played tonight between Tapp (Wellington Working Men's Club) and Tucker (Federal Club). Play commences at 8 o clock. N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIP. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, August 10. In the New Zealand billiards championship Fredatovitch (Auckland) beat Bowie (Auckland) by 666 t 0.638;.638; W. Smith (Christchurch) beat E ; . V.
