Preliminary sketch plans prepared by the board’s architects for the construction of proposed new buildings and a sports pavilion in connection with the Wellington Boys’ College were considered by the College Board of Governors yesterday. It is proposed to place the new accommodation building a e far back on the rising ground as convenient, so as to leave as much flat land' ns possible for extra play areas. The site for the proposed sports pavilion is at the south-east corner, in the bank, cf the lower grounds. It is said to he convenient to both tlie present upper and lower grounds, and to be also very accessible to the proposed new ground to be formed on the site of the present building. The Court of Ajipeal yesterday delivered judgment dismissing the appeal of the Electricity Supply Corporation (N.Z.), Limited, in the ease heard some time ago by Mr Justice Adams concerning the right to increase charges for lighting, heating and power in tlie boraugfcL of Devpnpo^L
