The moderates, with a majority of 200, are giving tlip Bolshevik delegates at the Lille Labour Conference a- bad time, taking advantage of the guards posted to prevent -disturbance to huri ineults and jeers- at the extremists, who are helpless, and fear to retaliate, the guillotine being applied. Congress decided to listen' to only two more speakers on each side. The president, in communicating the decision, declared that their minds were made up, and epecehifying would not alter the vote.
The Bolsheviks protested unavailingIv. The net result of the congress is the collapse of the Bolshevik section, which secured at the Orleans Conference tho vote of two-thirds of the delegates representing trade unionism.
