OPENING OF PARLIAMENT

THE PROBABLE DATE. The dates mentioned as most likely for the opening of Parliament are September 15th and September 22nd. If the former is decided upon, it is probable that the debate on the Address-in-Roply will fie concluded before Mr Massey arrives in the Dominion; if the latter is chosen .the Prime Minister may possibly reach Wellington in time to take part in the debate. Sir William Hernes is expected back in New Zealand next month, and will thus be present when Parliament opens.
