AFFAIRS IN BANKRUPTCY
ASSIGNEE’S COMMISSION.
Amending rules under the Bankruptcy Act. gazetted yesterday, provide that the Official Assignee’s commission, * on the net- from the bankrupt’s property, including the receipts of his business if carried on after bankruptcy, but after deducting any sums v paid to secured' creditors out of the proceeds of, or in respect of, their securities, shall be:—On the first amount of £2OOO or any less 6um, £5 per cent.; on aIT further sums, £2J per cent. / - The remuneration to be paid to every Deputy-Assignee is to be as follows:—On the net value of the estate realised by the Deputy-Assignee, including debts collected: On the first amount of £2OOO or any less sum, £5 per cent.; on all further sums, £2s per cent.; in each estate in which the percentage is less than £3 3s, £3 3s.
