AUSTRALIAN PREMIER
WILL PROBABLY VISIT FRANCE. Australian and N.Z. Cable (Received July 27, 0.0 p.m.) LONDON, July 28. Mr W. M. Hughes and Mrs Hughes were the guests of the Prince of Wales at luncheon at York House to-day. They attended the London Chamber of Commerce dinner at the Connaught Rooms. The Prince of Wales was r guest. Mr Hughes did not speak. It is uncertain yet whether Australia will he represented at the League erf Nations meeting at Geneva in September. Mr Hughes certainly will not attend, bat he may appoint a deputy. Questioned to-day, he replied that he had not made up his mind, bat be would probably visit France on August 11th to eettle the New Hebrides question on the lines already indicated, make a presentation to the Amiens Cathedral, and discuss commercia? matters with the French Govern ment.
