The C. and D. lane advise that the Port Napier is to sail from Wellington at daybreak this morning for London, via Panama.

The Canterbury -Company’s steamer Storm is due at Wellington this afternoon fiom Dunedin, Timaru, and Lyttelton. Tffo vessel is now timed to leave here to-morrow for Wanganui, taking cargo. The Blackball Coal Company advise that the Ngahere is due av Wellington on Monday from Greymouth, via New Plymouth, with about 506 tons of coal to. put out here for the shore trade The steamer John is due at Wellington to-morrow morning from Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru. The vessel will leave here to-morrow evening for Wanganui. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company have received cable advice that the Kurnara left Liverpool on the 23rd inst., cargo-laden for Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is due here on Sunday. RAMA FROM CHATHAMS. The Chatham Islands Fishing Company advise that the Rama ia expected back at Wellington on Monday from the Chatham Mania. Thi vessel is to leave here on Tuesday night for Dunedin, Ouniam and Timaru. THE PAPAROA. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Paparoa is to sail from Wellington at .daybreak on Sunday for Lyttelton and Timaru. The vessel is to return from Timaru to Wellington to complete loading for London. D URHAM~DUE SATURDAY. The Federal Line steamer Durham is now expected to‘arrive at Wellington' on Saturday from Montreal via Panama. The vessel has coal to put out here. After discharge she will load geueral cargo in New Zealand under the auspices of the New Zealand Shipping Company. WEST HEPBURN LEFT AUCK-' LAND. The steamer West Hepburn left Auckland at 6.20 o’clock last evening for Wellington in continuation of her voyage from New York. The vessel, which comes to the agency of Dalgety and Co., Is due at Wellington on Saturday. ‘ RAUPO LEFT NEWCASTLE. Cable nows has been received by the Geo.' 11. Scales Company that their barque Raupo left Newcastle on Tuesday with about 1100 tons of coal for Wellington. MANUKA" FOR, - SYDNEY. The Union Company’s intercolonial passenger steamer Manuka is to sail .from Wellington at noon to-day direct for Sydney. The vessel is berthed at No. l, north (outer tee), Queen’s wharf. AUCKLAND WATERSIDERS. The Auckland Waterside Workers’ ballot for the election of office-bearers for the ensuing year resulted in the retiring president (Mr N 1 Saunders), who was opposed 'by Mr O. Noakes, being reelected by a majority of 85 votes. More than ,usual interest was taken in the election on account of the excess supply of labour on the waterfront, 1072 votes being recorded, against 900 last year. In the voting for the vice-president, walking delegates, and disputes committee, absolute majorities were not obtained. Another election for these positions will be held at an early date. Mr O. Mason was the returning officer. WAIRUNA, FROM SAN FRANCISCO. The Union Company's steamer Wairuna. cargo-laden from San Francisco, is to leave Apia on Monday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne', and Sydney. The vessel is due at Auckland about August 6th, and at Wellington about August 15th. THE PORT” BOWEN. The C. and D. Line steamer Port Bowen Is exoected at Auckland about August 12th. from London, and at Wellington about August 18th. After putting out part cargo here the vessel wil! proceed on to Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete discharge. The Port Bowen will subsequently load in New Zealand for London.

PAKEHA ARRIVES SUNDAY. A wireless message was received yesterday by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company from the Pakeha, en route from London, stating that the vessel will arrive at Wellington at 7 o’clock on Sunday morning. The vessel will disembark all except her Auckland passengers, of whom there is a total of 864 on board. The Pakeha will leave Wellington on Mbnday for Auckland to commence discharge.
