"‘AUSTRALIANS SUCCESSFUL VICTORY IN CANADIAN DOUBLES \ CHAMPIONSHIP. > (Received July 20, 1.35 a.m.) 4 OTTAWA, July 18. , At Toronto Peach and Todd (Austra-' lia) won the Canadian open doubles championship, defeating' Bennett and Holmes (W’innipeg), 6—4,- 5—7, 7—5, 6—l. The game was keenly contested. Play was fairly even until the last two sets, when the Australians got the upper hand. Todd was in’particularly good form. Bennett and Holmes have been chosen to represent Canada in the Davis Cup matches.
