(Received July 20, 1.35 a.m.) HOBART, .Tuff 19. • .One of the worst droughts in the history of tho State ended with heavy rain and gales, between two and three inches of rain falling, flooding large areas and causing extens'gve damage. The dam at the Swansea mine, Zeehan, was swept away and tho ffiain street inundated. At Dridport a small schooner was blown ashore from its moorings but was not damaged.
