July 23rd-27th—Dunedin. July 27th-August Ist (Visit Bluff on July 20th). August lst-2nd —Gore. August 3rd-4th—Oarnanu. August 4tih-Bth—Timaru. (Visit Geraldine and? Temuka on August 6th). August Sth-llth—Christchurch. (Visit Ashburton on August Bth). THE DUNEDIN VISIT. ! Th© Governor-General's private secretary has written fcb«» Mayor of Dunedin, approving of the following programme in connection with the visit to Dunedin of Lord and Lady Jellicoe and the Hon. Lucy Jellicoe:— Saturday, July 23rd —His . Excellency and party will arrive <at»9.25 pan. Sunday.—His Excellency will unveil the Sawyers' Bay memorial at 3.15 pm. Monday.—His Excellency will hold an investiture at the Town Hall at 10 a.m. He will take a trip on the harbour at 11 a.m. He will open the St. John Ambulance Association's bazaar at the Art Gallery at 2.45 p.m. Her Excellency will open the Y.W.C.A. hostel at 3.45 p.m. His Excellency and staff will attend the Male Choir's concert at 8 Edh. Her Excellency and the Hon. ucy Jellicoe will visit the O«tago Wooten’s Club at 8.30 p.m. Tuesday.—His Excellency and party will attend the Orphans' Club function at 8 p.m. Their Excellencies and the Hon. Lucy Jellicoe will leave for Invercargill at 8.3 b a.m. on’ Wednesday, July 27th, returning to Dunedin on the evening of Tuesday. August 2nd. They wul proceed north the following- morning-. Lord Jellicoe regrets that 'he will be unable to attend the Overseas Club’s social, but adds that he remembers with, pleasure the enjoyable evening he had. with the members of the dub on his last visit. The Rev. W. Y. Fullerton arrived in New Zealand by the Paparoa from England. Mr Leo De Chateau left Wellington yesterday 'by the Tahiti on a business visit to Sydney. The Rev. H. B. Winsbury White, chaplain at Trentham camp has been appointed to the cure of Wajkouaiti. Mr -R. McCallum, H.P. for Wairau, who has been in Dunedin, has returned north and gone on to Auckland. The Hon. ~W. G. Russell passect through Wellington the other day on his way north. Mr George Horn, who has been acting as county clerk at Seddon fpr some time, has returned to Wellington. Mr T. B. Williams, Mayor of Wanganui, is reported to be making satisfactory progress towards recovery from the effects of his recent accident. LieuL-Colonel Thoms, D. 5.0., M.C., and Major P. H. Bell, D. 5.0., of the Defence Department, were visitors to Masterton yesterday. Mr Frank Thompson, general manager of the Christchurch tramways, has been indisposed for the past day pr two, but is expected to be about again: soon. The Rev. J. A. Jermyn, -with his wife, returned to New Zealand by the Paparoa after several years' absence in Great Retain. Mr H. *W.
