Blake (president, Lyall Bay), Bayfield, Batt, and Barnett (Hataitai), • Turnbull and Downes (Boseneath), Chisholm and Anderson. (Melrose), Paxton (Seatoun>, F. J. Evans and »3*.. Leslie J'onea*'(Lyall Bay). :t - The aims and objects of /the proposed Civic League were explained toi the delegates, and the meeting decided to deal with the matte?; at some future date. ’* Mr .*R. Leslie Jones £ave notice to move the following motion at the annual meeting of the league to be held on July 28th “(a) That an the opinion £f league at is desirable that a Greater Wellington Municipal Electors' Association should be formed forthwith; (b) that this league shall forthwith call a conference of all electors' associations in Wellington (each association to send two delegates) with a view to establishing a Greater Wellington ‘Municipal Electors' Association." ‘ The league 5 decided to support the residents of Crawford road, Kilbimie, jn their request to tho council that trees should be planted on the vacant land almost adjoining Duncan terrace and facing the Constable street tramline v The question of "change-over" tram tickets at Kilbirnie post office will be discussed ’ again with the tramways au fchorities.
