In communicating with the union representatives, the employers suggested that the conference should take place to-day. In consequence of this communication a meeting of Labour representatives was called, and took place at the Trades Council yesterday afternoon.
At the meeting it was agreed to meet the employers in conference today to discuss the matters indicated. The following were appointed to represent the workers at the conference:—Messrs M.-J.
