GRAIN FUTURES
AMERICAN BILL TO PREVENT GAMBLING. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. WASHINGTON, May 13. The Senate has passed a bill aimed to prevent gambling in grain futures. It places a tax of twenty cents per bushel on grain sold purely speculatively, and where the buyer and seller have no physical possession.
